EVENTS
All program events were intended to enhance real communication and improve mutual understanding. Our target group was extremely wide: from students to seniors, including civil activists, people close to the cultural sector as well as industrial workers - everyone was invited to attend our events. Following the project's motto all the events provided a framework to experience the principle of »listening for a better understanding«.
Highlights
Three public concerts in different cities of the Luhansk region performed by an international orchestra were the project´s highlights in summer 2019. In addition to the concerts, our partners in each city encouraged participants and local audiences to interact in various ways for a better understanding of current Ukrainian social issues.
Other events
Besides the highlights we had designed some special events to bring people together and encouraged an efficient dialogue: open rehearsals, some special chamber concerts in small town and villages of the Luhansk region, as well as "open singing" sessions for all those who like to sing. All these events stimulated the artistic team of the project to integrate in local society.

Kreminna, Luhansk region
The Art Camp "Theater and Dialogue" took place on July, 24-27 in Kreminna. Within four days, participants from different parts of Ukraine got acquainted, communicated and explored ways of communication through theatrical and performing practices.
The result of the theater camp was a street performance "Me - You - city" in Severodonetsk on July, 27.

Small groups of musicians from the "Music and Dialogue" project performed short concert programs in different courtyards of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk, after which their residents were able to communicate with the project participants and, of course, with each other.
These improvised concerts helped to create space for simple, but very important dialogues, because often it is difficult for us to find time to talk even with neighbors.
